Technically it’s their home ground I guess?
Don’t think super rugby tends to have as much of a member take up as NRL it seems to be more of an Aussie thing

Reserved seat tickets in the official Vodafone Warriors members’ bays in the North and South Stands have also been included in all Legacy and Faithful full season membership packages.
The match against the Raiders will be one of the Vodafone Warriors’ 10 home games played in Auckland next season – the other nine at Mount Smart Stadium – while their other two home fixtures have been confirmed for the NRL’s Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane and at SKY Stadium in Wellington.
The encounter with the Raiders will be the Vodafone Warriors’ seventh home game at Eden Park, six years after their last there which was also against Canberra. Their first was against Parramatta in 2011 followed by Manly in 2012 and the Sydney Roosters in 2013 before three games there in 2014.
Members of both clubs will be able to purchase additional tickets at a discount of 15% off the regular price in a special pre-sale from 12pm today through to 4pm.
How members can access their ticket allocation?
The official Vodafone Warriors members’ bays for the Codes of Auckland event are in the Lower North and Lower South stands at Eden Park.
For now, you don’t need to do anything. Your tickets are already locked in.
As a 2020 Legacy or Faithful member, you will be entitled to one ticket to the Codes of Auckland event for every membership you have purchased.
In February, we will send you a unique Ticketmaster code along with a special link. This code will allow you to go online and download your tickets.

I was looking to renew my membership but having a home game in Brisbane, Wellington and Eden Park really devalues it. Dunno what am gonna do now.

I renewed again, 22nd consecutive season in the same seats. To be honest, with the price increase and now seeing Eden Park pop up again I wish I hadn't. My wife even wondered if we could try and cancel out. I thought the price increase after last years performance was a kick in the guts. The only contact I had from the club was to tell me I had one day left to reserve my seats, so just said yes without thinking lol.
Any more Eden Park games and or another poor season, this will be my last and I will be a couch supporter and pay for individual games as I feel. I cannot stand the view from Eden Park. Hate the place.

I agree with the viewing thing. A problem I have is I grew up not far from the Park. Even had a job selling food in the stands as a kid. I have been to some monumental games there, especially against South Africa. So the place for me has a sort of sacred feel to it, nothing like Carlaw Park though.. However if those pricks can close down Carlaw Park for no reason, they can do the same for Eden park. Rant over.

The Warriors can't walk away - ESL wouldn't take the Warriors/a New Zealand team and why should they? That'd - no NRL - certainly be the last nail in RL's coffin.
We've just got doormats when it comes to scheduling.
Totally get why we don't get the primo TV slots - and it surely does relate to a certain degree how well we're regarded if only by the TV viewers in Australia and maybe even here might negatively affect things a bit.
But I wouldn't put it past the "Brains Trust" to not already be scouting places to stay during Rds 7-8, 16-17 and 24-25 to save the travel back and forth in the same week. You watch, after the first game of those two, the team will be back in Auckland for a day, losing a day's training, then blow another day by going back to Australia. As I've said before, the NRL would neatly help out Australian teams' scheduling, travel times and costs in coming to New Zealand if the Auckland Warriors and Wellington Orcas existed as teams to play. If the NRL don't help the Warriors, that's their call. If they make no move to help themselves....
And of course the Sea Eagles have the easiest draw according to the NRL. It's become a very open secret how strategically important they are to the NRL - a Northern Beaches presence to fight the evil AFL in the area etc etc. So it's Buttkissing Arko and Co time. Don't want to make Manly less financially viable than they already are...

I am told officially that it will be first in first served for those seats. Talk about total shite.
I don't know how many Union members there are but my guess is there will be sweet fark all available for the Warriors fans. The Northern Stand is shite anyway because you cannot see the replay screen in the sun.

While I totally get the irritation about going to Eden park again we need to be open to trying things and sometimes swallowing a dead rat for the greater good of the game. The games a negative to the hardcore fans but aimed at exposing the game to new fans, so I support trying things.
It’s one game. Of more importance to me is the shit draw - Brisbane as a home game (again), last 2 weeks away, home games around the country, etc.
CG needs to get onto some winners so the fans start getting in behind him, rather than the negativity the club has currently bought on itself.

I cannot divulge much but I emailed the club today and asked about the ticket allocations to the game for Warriors ticket holders.
As if I needed any proof, anybody can do the maths and know there are not enough good seats to go around for the Warriors members, end of story. He has sold us down the river...for what?
I hope at least one of the league journos picks up on it.
