Any girls from the NRLW Warriors we should sign for the mens team? Might as well be the first NRL team to be based on gender equality since half our players play like they don't have balls anyway.
Papalii can be vice captain with lisoooorrrrrrne!

Kenny Edwards is leaving Catalans in the UK Superleague. I wouldnt mind him here at the Warriors. Would be an upgrade on the second rowers we have now.

Thoughts on Leilani Latu. Not doing a lot at the Titans and we were keen on him at one stage. Is he a player we could improve or return to Penrith form? You'd think the Titans would need to top up his pay packet of 500,000 next year.

A lot of potential, but seems to have the same shortcomings a lot of our guys already have in regards to consistency and effort.

The guy can't make the Titans wooden spoon bench, and is on $500k a season. That's with James, Arrow and Boyd out for long periods. He either is playing shit, or has a massive attitude problem. Probably both.

Go get a Nat Butcher, Ryan Matterson, Jack Williams type player. Someone on the way up, not some Kiwi looking for a second chance (Perrett, Sipley, Latu etc).

I don't know if it's just me, but I see our squad as immature. Even some of our senior players strike me as 1st 15 Rugby players "I'm hot shit, laugh at my stupid jokes or fuck off" types. We really need to get a good mix of Aussies and Kiwis, our best sides have been made up this way and works well at every other club. Adding guys like Curran, Frei, Burr, AK, Lawton is a good start.

Would love a hard nosed Aussie forward pack leader. RCG would have fit the bill, but fell away badly this year. Bit of a gamble with his massive contract for the Eels. I assume the Panthers will be picking up a decent amount of his tab though.

Really.....can we not get someone 25/26, hungry & ready to peak. If we can get him for cheap might be a good addition but I think we’ll pay over the odds

The teams that are successful in the comp build a team and bring in players that have styles that can fit a game plan or that they an build a game plan around.

The Warriors feel like they have just taken what they can get since the early 2000s when everything seemed to fit together perfectly. The veterans they brought in were solid and the young guys complemented them with their ball skills. The forward pack was imposing while the outside backs had all round skills.

For the last 10 years its been a case of sign a star but dont build a team around them, we sign a star back but give them a starting lineup of bench forwards to work behind

When you sign Roger Tuivasa-Sheck surely the game plan should be to drag the defence infield and put him one on one with isolated outside backs, to do that you need to own the middle of the park..

Thanks everyone. That was my thinking on Latu. 27 in February, Sydney born, just over 50 games. But yes, not sure that he's hungry or will be the player he was 4 years ago. If we keep getting turned down sooner or later we are going to have to take a punt on someone.

We need to try and steal one of the Broncos 6 QLD Cup affiliated teams.

A way to sign Aussies in lower grades without having them leave home. Send a few of our guys over when needed to get them out of their comfort zone and experience the travelling.

The reality is, if we don't get them early then we don't get them without paying overs.

Don't care what it costs, it's not my money. :p
