The Warriors record several times as part of their training, with a focus on 10 and 30 metre sprints.

What will shock you is that two of the three fastest players over 10 metres are forwards.

Ken Maumalo is the only back who features on the short list, with Sam Lisone and Pat Sipley recording the fastest times over 10, although we haven’t been given their times.

Over 30 metres, the backline comes into play, with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Tui Lolohea, Shaun Johnson and Holden Cup winger Lewis Soosemea the quickest.

Maumalo is fast because he has feet for hands and runs on all fours...

2) It further backs up my thoughts that the biggest issue with most of our players is that they lack footy smarts and anticipation. If you don't see danger coming and only react to it once it becomes obvious then chances are it's already too late to make up for it. No ability to anticipate = lose.

There's a reason why some guys have great careers despite not being the prototype athlete, they think faster than their opposition can run.

That is why older players get by as they slow down, they think quicker

Pleased it is streaming live for free. I am cheap but I still thought the $20 per adult is fairly pricey for a pre-season, something like $10 adults and $5 kids would have made far more sense to me.

The feed hasn't started yet, it was supposed to five minutes before kickoff.

2min till kickoff a balmy 31deg , a pretty strong breeze blowing straight down the field should add another dimension to the game as well as taking the edge of heat. Both teams warming up and we're looking better than the Storm. What could go wrong?

If it works, then the game should remain on the website for viewing after completion. Both the NZ link and international link work for me so I dont think the game has any regional blocks.

Livestream doesn't work for me. Just get a still frame and an endless loading circle. My internet sucks though so no surprise. Looks like I'm relying on you guys for updates.
