2017 Warriors Preseason Thread

Thought Id get this thread up and running. Post any pics, news or articles about the Warriors preseason prep for the 2017 season. This will no doubt be the hardest preseason ever . Wonder how long it'll take and who will say the line?

Those that arent involved with the Four Nations will be back on the grind on November 2nd. They get 10 days off over the Christmas break then its full on training for the upcoming season. All players have been given weight and skin fold targets to achieve or maintain during their break...

there would be nothing more i would love than to have a hard knocks (NFL preseason show) style show about the warriors and see exactly what happens in preseason like the work in the gym and the park etc

Sweet the pre season. The time of year every club feels like winners.

As someone interested in exercise it's always cool seeing what the clubs are doing and how they are going about getting ready for the season. Hopefully when it comes to the trials, 9s or All Stars the commentators are making comments about our players on how well they are looking, slimmed down or put on some good muscle etc. I know one can only dream but it would be good to hear for once from people outside on our guys looking like they are in shape and ready for the season. If that was the case I'd be happy with the best pre season ever tag.

Would be nice to have the NRL/360 show once a week to just do the pre-season. Or else the After Match crew to do the warriors once a week.

Preseason, a new coach, a new star half. What are the priorities? Fitness? Combinations? Game plan? Team Building? I have no freaking idea, I don't want the guys turning up like Issac did last year obviously but I also thought at times last year we didn't have a plan A let alone a plan B or C. I like the idea of a preseason fly on the wall show , I also understand the audience for such a show is small, but I'd like something more than the cliche BS we're usually fed from now until our first sighting of the team which is usually the preseason games (how ominous and a portent of things to come was that game against St George).

I like that idea. If he can improve the defence the team will get somewhere.

They have dreamt that to with some of the quotes we have heard over the years.

Some of the boasts about how high they want to be rated in the defensive stats have ended up some of our worst. Lets hope we hear less bravado about and have more hard work behind the scenes, get it done on the field.

as a team we have alot to work for the most part we have the right pieces of the puzzle from a coaching stand point. although i have some reservations about certain members of the coaching team - more so balin cupples and brenda inkster. i mean this is there time to shine. we have all the state of the art facilities but we cant seem to be either fit or have a good solid power/strength game

Tomorrow sees the beginning of the hardest preseason ever.

With our lot it doesn't seem that the issue is so much who comes to the start of pre season overweight - as to their state after they've had their Christmas break.
