That's more of a statement than a question. But if I was to put it as a question it would be a rhetorical one anyways. So the statement makes it clear that I'm not expecting an answer and avoids that awkward moment when they start answering and someone has to cut them off..

You are focusing on the outcome of the problem rather than the source of it. Look back to the end of season 2016 - who conducted the 'full review' of that failure of a season? Watson, Doyle and Owen Eastwood - tell me where the rugby league expertise is within that group?

Its where Jim Doyle performs a magic trick, he speaks to the club faithful and everyone comes away thinking “that man knows what he’s doing and the team is looking up!” then the team actually plays a game and it falls apart.
The audio has been posted on here the last few years, he is an impressive speaker. Even his predecessor Wayne Scurrah didn’t sound too bad. Doesn’t translate to the team getting winz though.

You do that when you want to hide the truth.
I don't think JD can be compared to the first CEO Ian Robson who could sell pork shops in both Tel Aviv and and Riyadh. Also Robson managed to keep the lid on the press for much longer than JD has, although Chris Rattue was on to Robson pretty early.

Last members forum JD delivered us the Foran signing which had people fizzing at the bung hole. Hasn't really panned out on well though.
He also delivered the biggest TV screen in the Southern Hemisphere - bigger than the Allianz monster..... Actually ended up being smaller than the Allianz monster and the MCG.... so really it was the biggest TV screen in NZ!

Last season he mentioned that the club breaks down the season into 3 groups. First 8 games, second 8, and third. Focus for 2017 was to improve on our crappy success % over the first 8 games. Hopefully we will hear that plans are afoot to progress to concentrating for full 80 mins for ALL games for next season.

They tried to livestream it last year. It was extremely poorly run. Seems as if they gave the camera to one of the staff's toddlers. Many drop outs, sound issues, camera panning to the ceiling, floor or anywhere but where it should have been. Better off holding out for the audio recording when it occurs.

Not sure why this thread is for the 2018 members forum instead of the 2017. Maybe the fans wanna skip this season just like the players have shown.

Times running out for it to be held. Usually scheduled when there are some positives to talk about. They should have simply had it after round 1 after we scraped past newcastle and everyone was on a high seeing the nz spine in action.
