As soon as Smith was running in the first set, could have called the game then. NSW have to use their big men to get on top or they are no chance, don't have the class to conjure up come from behind wins.

Kind of a mirror of the first game, one team is just all over them, score should have been more.

All turned on NSW having a flat 2nd half in game 2.

Yeah I didn't think that at the time either, he was being spun around in the tackle as he passed but it was a tackle he didn't have to take in the first place. When players blow a certain try, it's hard to be mad when a 50/50 call goes against them in that same play. He put on a master class except for that moment though.

Wade Graham was a liability for NSW in the series, he just can't get the ball stripping out of his game. Fifita did a belly flop as second or third man in on every tackle he was involved in, he should've been penalised out of his game. As long as NSW feel that they have to resort to filth instead of backing their ability, they'll be on the losing side more often than not.

The commentators were ripping into Fifita even before the game was over, dont expect to see him in NSW colours next year. Strange thing is it was all him in the first game, but even then i felt it was the free interchange that he got from that knock to his noggin that made the difference. It meant he didnt do as many minutes in a straight line, and came on so much more energised than games 2 and 3.

Loved watching this seasons SOO, it was such a shining example of how smaller men need to play to beat bigger men. Given the result you might well see the big three from the storm back for 1 more season. If not at least they went out standing proud.

I hate to say it but look at the characters in the team.

Qld have leaders.

Players who are respected both on and off the field.

These guys have integrity. Stand up people.

Then you look at these clowns from NSW.

From Dugan to Fergerson to Pearce and Fafita.

All bad apples off the field.

Not people you can trust and go into battle with.

When the going gets tough, they're likely to turn on you or switch off and blame it on someone else.

Even though i support NSW's i can see their problems are not all that different to the Warriors...

except they are a pack of big men and the warriors arent. But i see your point. When its easy to run over people you stop thinking about what happens when you cant actually catch them in the first place. When you hit a guy with your best and he jumps straight back up and comes looking for more because his team depend on him, and you have no second gear to move up to. NSW - Warriors, i see it.
