General 2016 Warriors Offseason/Preseason Thread

Have spoken with most our forwards, including Ben, and all are really excited about playing alongside Issac Luke. In their eyes he will be the most important addition to the team this season. He'll have more of an impact on the teams overall success than most people realise...

Yeah mate it's a totally different ball game for them now- he's a god send for our pack.
Have u talked to any of the outside backs? They must feel the same about Roger Tuivasa-Sheck? He brings the ball back so strongly and gets a quick play the ball- Manu getting on the back of that is gonna be scary.

Looks like Vete is copying Lillymans arm workout! Looks jacked!
Great to see Stacey Jones getting hands on at training too. I like the idea of him and the First Grade coaches all knocking about together at training.
The NSWarriors team will hopefully follow the same defensive patterns that Morgan is putting in place, and it can be a seamless transition between the two teams when required.

I'm loving this. Thinking I might need to go for a drive to Whangarei for the trial match against the Titans on Feb 13. I have an itch that needs scratching, and only the Warriors can do it.

I'd say he's fine it's just his build. He knows what a season is like
he'll be ready, There wasn't much to Michael Luck either or Campian it's
just how some players are built, But the boys look like they been giving
it heaps,

Justin Morgan was on News Talk ZB on Saturday with Tony Veitch.

https://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/on-demand/week-on-demand/
First part is in the 17:00 - 17:15 Starts around 11 minutes.
Second part in the 17:15 - 17:30 section.

Goes over the 9s squad and the selection of it. Gould's criticism of the 9's in-terms of injuries. Hurrell's fitness. The perception of the club being unprofessional. Guys doing extras. Mitchell Pearce.

Before the video started Veitch and his producer mentioned Morgan said before he started the role. "If the guys attitude is right and they are willing to learn he'll get the best out of them". Hopefully that works and we don't wear him out.

Like McFadden he seems pretty good to listen to in interviews.
