Maoris the sad guys picked like 5 or 6 NRL players.....there needs to be an investigation lol.
Murris will be A grade + country players.

Also the NZ Maori are a bit of a rort - the coach & manager pick players they know and like.
Hence most of them are from Auckland Maori, Pt Chev or Taniwharau lol

Should be called NZ Maori selection. No team should be called a rep side unless it the best available.

Like Tama Koopu cant even make the newcastle NYC side.

It wouldn't be fair playing most of the Kiwi team bro, Maori are proud too and enjoy repping just like the Islanders do bro.

There seems to be quite a nice spread of Maori picked, FTR Murrimurri don't represent the Aboriginal race they're just a tribe..

It's picked from their Carnival tournament I believe, shows you the depth Oz actually have, I can't say I'd heard of any of them, they put up a good showing by the looks.
It does look as though it was 20 something in the shade however and knowing the Coast it was probably 90% humidity, yuck
The Coast has had a great run of football events in the past month.

I know Manu weepu, aga fiso, Chris bamford and ken tofilau made it from canterbury.
Do they actually play anyone? And what's the criteria? Same as the pirtek cup? -Whatever that is.

The "CHEATING TEAMS" Counties have 7 players in it and Akarana have 6 or 5 I've heard yesterday LOL What a Rubbish team - how do you go into camp with so many Auckland players in it - after the court room dramas LOL Hawks have 2 out of the 7.

Well at least the transfer fee goes up on a player making this paper team

He's goin to the knights.
There's some huge wraps on him at halswell- they reckon he's gonna be better than lusi sione, who was just a freak.
Coincidently he actually spent a pre season with the knights back in the day too- they wanted to sign him till it got to the trials and they found out he wouldn't play on Saturdays haha

It wasnt the best it was 3rd v 4th. Waicoa had 5 or 6 teenagers

It was the best that didn't play non-eligible player, though. That would make them the best in that comp.

If the 1st and 2nd team knew the other team had infringed, then they had to have known that they themselves were fielding ineligible players. They basically confessed through outing the other team.

A lesson I would take from this is don't rat someone out for doing something that you are doing.

The NZRL may look like idiots for approving the players and then prosecuting the teams, but the teams appear just as dodgey to me through their knowledge of the rules after the fact.

Debating the final is over now for me between the regions but I just take aim at NZRL for naming a Residents side made up from teams who didn't even qualify for the final - They look like a real joke IMO who the heck makes those decisions up there, another PR disaster lol Holden your the captain you need to go, your just a FACE. Paper team for transfer $.

After watching Canterbury on TV and I have seen most of the better Waicoa players play.
I rekcon Sauni & John Koko in the centres.
