Taukeiaho, Vete and Faitala-Mariner were on fire in this game. Vete is going to bring us some SERIOUS size. He is built like a fucking tank!
Yeah spoke with Vete a few weeks back and shit he's packed on the size;still focused on cracking FG he told me,learning a lot playing up in Vulcans, hoping he crack's Junior Kiwis this year.

Good to hear. Especially like how he says he's learning heaps in Reserve Grade. As much as I like Ackland for winning us 2 NYC trophies, he was stifling some of our more talented players progression by keeping them in the less competitive U20's scene. I love the clubs new direction...

Good win by the boys.

Gubb looks like a secound rower to me. Likes the heavy contact , better get those shoulder charges out of his game.

Vete runs well / keeps his legs pumping in the tackle. If I had a criticism it would be I can't remember seeing him too often in when the other team had the ball.

Agnatius Passi was an oddity selection at center , hell of a ball player , good to see him come back from suspension looking leaner , that's unusual for a lot of our boys , must have been disciplined with his diet and training.

Tangi Ropati is a solid back.

Pita still looking a class above the NSW cup , great depth for the first grade team lose a half or two next year.
