9am - Powhiri/Karakia (Formal Welcome)

9.30am - U13 Boys Nerang vs Southport

10.30am - U14 Girls Burleigh vs Nerang

11.30am - Maori Masters vs Oz Barbarians

12.30pm - Kapa Haka (Maori Dance)

1pm – QLD emerging Maori vs Victoria Maori

3pm MAIN GAME – QLD Maori vs NSW Maori

I missed the game as had to work in North QLD an couldnt get back in time, but heard a great time was had by all with good family day at Parkwood Sharks RLC in Gold Coast.

Good footy and entertainment an FOOD. I know Shaun Kenny Dowell and Cherington were playin ran into them yeasterday thay said few NRL boys playin or supporting dont know who won yet though NSW Maori or QLD Maori

I don't mean to be rude but QLD Maori vs NSW Maori? My support was behind the Wellington Aborigines...

ha ha bros the state of O reference was a bit tongue in cheek but fair enough, I spose maybe cause Im livin here was more exciting for the brothers here guys on site were buzzin about it (kiwi ones ) talk of a couple of samoan teams in next years just bummed I missed a chance to socialise and watch footy and eat Hangi, an only cost $10

great way to get an expat community together. Could just as well be NSW Irish vs Victoria Irish or Kiwis or whatever. Fun concept, good family day by the sounds of it.

i agree, its just a fun thing not a competitive thing. good on the organisers, if it was in sydney id definately have come to watch.
