Really felt like in attack we were going to the playbook that worked against a broken Souths defence, Drags did not have those spaces for us to run. Well played Drags. Our boys just gassed by the looks. Maybe more than a few out there playing with injuries? Poor discipline is going to kill you everytime.

Everyone bitching about the bench.

Roache looked great for the ten seconds he got, Laban was solid with fast ptbs.

Pompey got one run and posted good meters.

If Webster did anything wrong with the bench it was protecting his greenhorns too much, should have perhaps thrown caution to the wind. But the thing is, that is easy for me to say, what if they struggle and he wrecks a young mans career for the sake of a shit game.

We got caught out tonight, it happens.

No need to panic. I am not worried at all. Nights like tonight are glitches and they happen in the NRL.

Fans crying about it need to recall the year of quality they were given last year off the same systems.

A bit of a wake up call. We haven't been on for a full 80 all season. The Souths game was nice but realistically that was the easiest opposition.

They have had a tough run of games.

We also will be scouted a lot more this year.

Part of it could be backing up from last week. But they have a short turn around for ANZAC Day and to be honest I can see them turning it around big time next week.

The main thing is to make sure this is the worst performance of the year.

Some of that was as bad as anything produced in the prior decade.

I do think there are short term mitigating factors that need to be considered for that performance, mainly unable to back up from last week and of course the depleted squad.

However, there are some obvious areas that have been issues for a while:
- Left edge still not firing
- Inability to convert dominance into points
- Robotic edge back rowers
- Webbys bench rotations

Someone posted the rotations of Barny and AFB in the game day thread. The only conclusion can be that Zyon Maiu’u isn't ready.

OK, anyone that can think of a positive reason that we lost to the Dragons can fuck off, the Dragons are a piss poor piece of shit useless fucking excuse for a NRL team, we were shit and its not a good look going forward.
I know we've got injuries but the use of our bench and then the make up was absolutely fucked

Hate Lomax but hes just been on fire this season.

I know RTS has been getting lots of plaudits from commentators, but how many times this season has he outplayed his opposition? The ball hes getting is not helping but it seens he thinks his role is to show sone brilliance abd not be part of the cog. Not having a decent 5/8 who can setup plays is not helping.

Wouldnt mind giving CHT a chance at 5/8 next week.

Exactly. As much as we were all nervous during the week about our injuries and our bench. Even as it got weaker with CHT being ruled out.

We lost that match with the experienced guys on the field.

They may have got a bit smart with trying to interchange the experienced guys. Can kind of see getting AFB and Barnett back on.

Missing Metcalf

Some of you lot are drama queens.

It was a shit game, it happens.
Not to that magnitude however, as others have said, the worst performance under Webster's Tenure, a shambolic display of footy and a terrible misuse of our bench.

Injuries or not we had the starting 13 to put them away comfortably, we were outgunned, looked unenthused and couldn't match their intensity. More alarming was it didn't look like there was a game plan at all.

That's burst the bubble for me - look like pretenders not contenders for the trophy. Dragons can do that to us, the better teams in the comp will be licking their lips

did paul kent lose his court case if so why is he back on TV?
