Laban gets a 6 from me. He will be dissapointed with his effort. Did most things right but over ran a pass from AFB resulting in a turn over and fell for a dummy to let in a try. But not terrible and not the reason we lost.

Some promising stuff too. He ran good lines and dealt out some noise on defence.

Scary thing is JFH ain't going to fix our weaknesses across the field - if we playing Montoya, Ale, Jazz and co next year and DWZ doesn't learn to trust his centre than I'm writing us off before the season starts.

Yeah I’m on this bandwagon, like it’s honestly just giving away penalties that is killing us, the whole game plan is based on field positions. Honestly titans other then the first try didn’t even look like making it into our half without the ref or a mistake

My co cern other than the drop off of defence from the Manly game is we haven’t played for a full 80, let alone 40 minutes. We have 20 minutes of good footy, once, maybe twice a game.

CNK had a big game in his milestone game.

Safe as usual and some big runs through the middle. Even a few times where he doubled up with another run a few tackles later.

I love having a fullback that runs direct so his team mates have less distance to come back.

Huh, you kidding? Old as Tohu looking he's at the heart of what we do in the middle, has an engine that gets through a tonne of work on defence and can still offer a lot on attack for the whole 80mins. He's not your run of the mill lock, got way more strings to his bow, particularly over an Ale.

If we ain't playing a specialist 13 like Tohu the next best is someone who can run hard, tackle and break the line - Ale ain't that!

Somethings missing. We we click into over drive we are the best team in the NRL. When we sit back and play percentage league the game seems to come at us and happen to us. It is always frustrating when we lose when we always have the more talented team. No blaming injuries either as they were missing several of their key players.

we had shit performances like this last year as well. For example the bunnies and chooks games at Mt Smart last year. People forget that it was only 2 weeks ago that we were the best defensive team in the comp and we were looking as strong as we did last year. So the team has it in them to go deep this year, we have simply lost our way in the last 2 games. There is nothing here that isn't fixable. So to proclaim that the season is done after 2 bad performances is highly premature.
