I guess I think people’s thinking should be challenged. I don’t think many people have really grasped what they are supporting.

But yeah, I hope this helps us grapple with different perspectives like men recognising different views, being open to learn & realising there’s more important things to life than footy.

If the Arab nations had had their act together in 1948, we might not be having this discussion (or there'd be international agitating for an Israel rather than a Palestine, more likely).
 
I have always wondered how Israelis feel/think about the occupation, the apartheid and how it can lead to the current genocide. I understand a right to 'defend' themselves, and also the obvious concern to return hostages. But the brutality of this war and the lack of compassion to innocent civilians is hard to fathom. Who is justifying those things? You seem to be justifying killing children, babies, civilians in general - because israel MIGHT be killing some Hamas fighters at the same time.

I agree hamas is the issue and deserves to be pursued but I don’t agree with the overwhelming numbers of innocent civilians being collateral in the forms of attacks and tactics used. If this is indeed true footage, it just shows how the average Palestinian has absolutely nowhere to turn with a terrorist group from within murdering and outside forces also attacking, majority of these people being massacred aren’t hamas supporters and have no way of ousting them.

Not at all. I think every death is a tragedy, if you’ve read my posts it’s quite clear. I believe even if the kids are children of evil Hamas terrorists they should live just like my kids. It’s just in the reality of war these things happen. I believe that the evil of Hamas Terrorists and any other evil ideological view that makes people evil and sick like what they perpetuate should not be tolerated because it is close to root of the problem. Unless it is dealt with decisively it will flourish and spread and cause much more issues not only for Israel but the world.
